We can be Heroes.
30 years on from the fall of the Berlin Wall, this campaign set out to show how a new generation of German athletes are working hard to push society forward, and tear down the walls of today. The film features a mix of everyday and professional athletes (more on them below). All of whom prove that you never do it just for yourself.

At the core of our creative execution was the use of the German version of “Heroes” by David Bowie. It’s a song about the Wall, and it’s so beloved in German culture that it was the only one he ever performed in German. We gave it a new sound by having Germany’s greatest living composer, Hans Zimmer, recreate it, using David Bowie’s original German vocals.
Bowie & Zimmer, not a bad combination.
